Requisition Summary

Peterbilt is currently looking for a Bulletin Publications Manager. Are you ready to make a direct impact in helping to shape our future? In this vital role, you will manage Peterbilt’s Bulletin Publications, as well as partner on shared content with Kenworth.  

The Bulletin Publications Manager will be the point of contact (interface) for organizing publications with stakeholders related to field repair documents, Federal Safety and Emissions Recalls, and other information intended for Peterbilt dealer service technicians and customers. Manager will have oversight on all peer-reviewed publications activities and ensure robust planning and delivery to meet project deadlines. Manager will assist with the delivery of high-quality publications within agreed timelines and policy requirements according to project priorities and drive the team to meet agreed upon targets and requirements to ensure execution of plans.

Daily Tasks to Include:

  • Write, edit and coordinate the production of written and visual service information.
  • Manage and assist team in managing priorities with dynamic deadlines.
  • Research product information based on input from subject matter experts (SME), engineering design, and production.
  • Provide technical and administrative support for the team, Aftersales, dealers and customers.
  • Define vehicle populations and mailing list for field actions utilizing tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Excel and/or Access.
  • Collect and prepare campaign cost estimate information.

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for a professional with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical publications, business, engineering, or a related subject preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in the trucking or automotive industry with emphasis on publications management.
  • Ability to manage internal timelines based on project implementation dates.
  • Strong organizational, time management and reporting skills.
  • Seasoned interpersonal skills and strong team player.


Preferred Qualifications

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Master’s Degree or higher technical publications, business, engineering, or related subject.
  • Knowledge and experience in Smartsheet.
  • Continuous Improvement and learning to support the evolution of our department.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
