Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support five U.S regional sales teams.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Supports the operational activity of the Peterbilt’s five U.S. regional sales teams.
  • Coordinates Denton plant tour scheduling details.
  • Provides administrative and clerical support to relieve department managers or staff of administrative details, including the creation of executive presentations.
  • Generates and maintains ongoing reports including daily/weekly departmental information, quotation request, price substitution changes, corporate licensing and Dealer Master databases.
  • Coordinates travel, meetings, bi-weekly calendar administration, expense reports, and events for sales department.
  • Answers phone calls, coordinates messages and appointments, maintains files, and handles department office supplies, mail and other deliveries.
  • Routing and tracking of P.O.’s and check requests.
  • Occasional break relief for Receptionist.
  • Assist and support other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to regularly multi-task and prioritize, working with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to maintain composure and provide quality product under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to compile large amounts of data received from multiple sources into concise, accurate reports utilizing technical skills (pivot tables, queries, downloads, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent required
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
