Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Supports the operational activity of the Sales staff and executive team. 
  • Provides administrative and clerical support to relieve department managers or staff of administrative details, including the creation of executive presentations.  
  • Coordinates travel, meetings, calendar administration, expense reports, and events for department executives.  
  • Answers phone calls, coordinates messages and appointments, maintains files, and handles department office supplies, mail and other deliveries.
  • Generate and maintain ongoing reports including weekly departmental reports, customer reports, and national account matrix.

Job Functions/Responsibilities cont.

  • Departmental training tracking and scheduling.
  • Routing and tracking of P.O.’s
  • Helps plan, coordinate and support department events including conventions, customer tours, and department service awards.
  • Occasional break relief for Receptionist.
  • Assist and support other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to regularly multi-task and prioritize, working with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to maintain composure and provide quality product under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • Ability to compile large amounts of data received from multiple sources into concise, accurate reports utilizing technical skills (pivot tables, queries, downloads, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent required
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
