Requisition Summary

Peterbilt Motors Company, a PACCAR Company, has an opening for an Engineering-Autonomous Vehicle Platform Intern to add to our Product Engineering Team in Denton, Texas. 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

This position will be working on various projects and reports to include but not limited to:

  • Participate in the development of an SAE Level-4 Automated Driving System (ADS) for heavy duty commercial vehicles.
  • Develop technical requirement specifications for actuators, and other ADS related components.
  • Support pilot builds at vehicle assembly plants. 
  • Develop mechanical system concepts to meet vehicle platform requirements and utilize analytical tools to verify a robust design.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
