Requisition Summary

Provide Service Operations Management support for Franchises and select National Fleet Accounts ensuring that service and maintenance operations are in accordance with stated expectations and PacLease quality standards.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Franchise Support

  • Provide consultative maintenance and service support to Franchise locations.
  • Conduct maintenance audit reviews with Area Operation Managers and Franchise General Managers and Service Managers. Provide written evaluations of Franchise Service Department performance and recommendations for improvement.
  • Help coordinate the implementation of PACCAR’s selected service management platform at the franchise level in coordination with the overall PACCAR launch plan.
  • Provide support / advice in areas of truck order specifications, pricing, residual and rating standards in support of franchise total cost of ownership.
  • Participate in troubleshooting problems of significant impact or high expense.
  • In coordination with Director of Franchise Operations, establish and enforce all vendor programs, rebates, warranty, recall, etc. programs for PACCAR Leasing.
  • Conduct facility and environmental inspections as directed.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the variable cost analysis tool used in quoting new business at the franchise level.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with heavy-duty truck lines including direct service of trucks or truck components.
  • Experience in leasing service management of dealership service management preferred.
  • Proficiency with PCs to include knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships customers, franchises and supporting departments.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate with different types of people.
  • Willingness to travel at least 75%.
  • Passport or ability to obtain is required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
