Requisition Summary

Coordinates and tracks all engine changes and modifications through all PACCAR Divisions. Works closely with Product Development group to acquire concise and accurate documentation for proposed product changes.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

 

  •  Manage Engineering Changes to the Product Specification, working closely with European and North American Stakeholders.
  •  Study Engineering Designs and Drawings attached to the Engineering Change Requests.
  •  Technically evaluate and monitor all product change implementation.
  •   Define Key Process Indicators to determine the accuracy and efficiency of Engineering Specifications.
  •   Analyze system reports to ensure the accuracy of Engineering Specifications.
  •   Host weekly ECR meetings with cross -functional stakeholders
  •   Evaluate and process Engineering Deviations   



Qualifications & Skills

 

  • Background in Engineering Change Management. 
  • Ability to study Engineering Drawings and evaluate design Specifications.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Self-motivated and deadline-driven.
  • Expertise in PLM and ERP systems required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Six Sigma, Siemens TeamCenter, and Pro/ENGINEERING preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suit.

 

Education/Training Required

 

  •  Three years of Engineering Change Management experience is required.
  • Seven or more years of directly related engineering specifications experience is preferred.
  •  Knowledge of DFSS and 6-Sigma techniques is preferred.
  •  Must have the ability to develop procedures to ISO/TS16949 standards and operate within these standards, including internal reporting of performance.
  •  Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and Engineering Change Management experience with PLM and ERP Systems.
  •  Experience coordinating with and/or directing supplier activities preferred.
  •  Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
  •  Experience in implementing Class 7 & 8 diesel engine and/or truck systems into production preferred.
