Requisition Summary

If you are a bright, dynamic, and self-motivated we have the perfect opportunity for you to accelerate your career at PACCAR Engine Company. We are looking for a Support Specialist to help us provide superior technical support for associates at our $400 million Plant in Columbus, Mississippi

The ideal candidate has a four-year bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering and is analytical, detail oriented, ambitious, individually driven to succeed, has great communication and organizational skills, and can provide exceptional application support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Provide business process analysis and identify dependencies between technologies to help drive technical requirements for innovative business solutions
• Transform requirements into development ready user stories
• Manage the relationship between specific business partners and systems
• Develop and implement Apriso Process Builder enhancements
• Collaborate with developers and perform code reviews on .NET development
• Manage small to medium sized projects which may include coordination with nearshore / offshore resources
• Execute IT application testing and facilitate user acceptance testing
• Document and coordinate technical environment implementations
• Analyze incidents and provide workarounds to maintain operational uptime
• Attend department-specific and other IT-sponsored meetings, workshops, and training
• Provide on-going production support for PACCAR Engine systems and applications
• Support weekend and after-hours efforts as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a similar field
• Proficient in one or more object-oriented languages (e.g., C#, Java)
• Experience with Delmia Apriso Process Builder and MES Configuration
• Capable of moderating and presenting IT incidents and topics in a team environment
• Proficient with Agile SCRUM methodologies (Sprints, user stories, etc.)
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively with little to no supervision
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and professional behavioral skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite

Desired:

• Experience with managing incident and service requests in a ticket management application
• Experience with project management principles
• Experience with MS Visio or similar process flow modeling tool
