Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Analyzes specialized orders and makes recommendations to dealers/customers 
• Coordinates with product engineers as necessary to obtain input related to chassis components
• Provides technical guidance for changes during pilot inspections and feedback related to technical information.
• Contact dealers to clarify sales orders and/or make recommendations related to proper component usage.
• Helps implement and coordinate new programs
• Manage projects for continuous improvement initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Attendance is an essential function of all positions

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate technical data
• Demonstrate high level of initiative and follow through
• Strong desire to learn new roles and activities within department
• Demonstrate and maintain high level of flexibility in role within department
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be capable of multi-tasking

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
• BS degree in Engineering preferred
• Three – five years truck or automotive experience with demonstrated understanding of mechanical devices and manufacturing processes
• Two years of PACCAR experience is preferred.  
• Demonstrated ability to understand complex tasks
• Familiarity of CICS system
• Proficient with Windows systems

Education

BS degree in Engineering preferred
