Job Functions / Responsibilities

•    PERFORMS LABOR ANALYSIS OF TRUCK ASSEMBLY OPERATIONS USING BASIC/MAXI MOST AND/OR OTHER WORK MEASUREMENT TECHNIQUES AND SYSTEMS.
•    ANALYZES AND ORGANIZES DATA GATHERED FOR LABOR ASSEMBLIES, ENGINEERING CHANGES, AND TYPICAL TRUCK MODELING FOR LABOR COMPARISONS.
•    PROVIDES ACCOUNTING REPORTS, ANALYSIS, AND INPUT TO PRICING / ACCOUNTING SPECIAL PROJECTS.
•    SUPERVISES ACTIVITIES OF THE M.E. MOST TECHNICIAN(S), PRIORITIZING WORK AND PERFORMING STANDARD SUPERVISORY DUTIES.
•    INITIATES REPORTS AND UTILIZES OUTPUT TO PRIORITIZE WORK ACTIVITIES FOR THE GROUP TO ENSURE OPTIMAL STANDARD LABOR COVERAGE IS ACHIEVED.
•    MANAGE AND MAINTAIN PROCESS CONTROL DOCUMENTS AND SUPPORT OTHER PLANT INITIATIVES AND DEPARTMENT GOALS.
•    COLLABORATES WITH MANUFACTURING ENGINEERS FOR CHANGES TO PROCESSES DUE TO KAIZENS, SIX SIGMA PROJECTS, CHANGES IN PLANT LAYOUTS, ETC.
•    TROUBLESHOOTING USING ANY AND/OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SYSTEMS: MAINFRAME, REI, PCMS, ROUTINGS, REPORT2WEB, VOG, WIN CODES, EASOP, EWI.
•    PERFORMS OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    BACHELOR’S DEGREE.  
•    STRONG ANALYTICAL SKILLS.
•    WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER SYSTEMS, INCLUDING MS WORD, EXCEL, AND POWERPOINT. (A computer proficiency exam will be given.)
•    EXCELLENT VERBAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
•    SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF CERTIFICATION TESTS IN BASIC/MAXI MOST.  TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED AT THE COMPANY’S EXPENSE. CERTIFICATION TESTS MUST BE PASSED AT THE END OF EACH SESSION.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•    MANUFACTURING/INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING DEGREE.
•    2-3 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH PRODUCTION OPERATIONS AND PROCESSES.
•    GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OF KENWORTH ENGINEERING SYSTEMS.
