Requisition Summary

The TREAD Compliance Analyst is a key contributor to PACCAR’s compliance with the Transportation Recall Enhancement, Accountability and Documentation Act. This position reports to the TREAD Compliance Manager in Corporate Quality.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Responsible for TREAD Compliance analytical support:

  • Communicate with PACCAR divisions’ staff related to TREAD reports
  • Review customer service e-mails; identify and categorize reportable field reports
  • Process field report aggregate and prepare for submission
  • Support Kenworth and Peterbilt by concisely summarizing service communications
  • Process communication indexes in preparation for monthly submissions to NHTSA
  • Research multiple sources, synthesize data and provide analysis to support special requests from NHTSA
  • Support TREAD Compliance Manager in reporting processes improvements efforts, procedures and implementations
  • Special projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully complete technical reports
  • Excellent technical, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well organized and accurate with detailed work.
  • Ability to correctly/objectively interpret documentation content
  • Quickly discern if communication meets reporting requirements threshold
  • Proficient PC skills to include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Root Cause Analysis
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to work with manufacturers’ drawings and specifications.
  • Ability to manage personal workload to meet deadlines. Willingness, flexibility and initiative to respond to shifting time and project demands.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate business maturity
  • Must be proactive, anticipate needs and take action to address issues

Education

  • Four year degree in technical field plus1-3 years’ experience required
  • Continuous Improvement / Lean training a plus
  • ISO or Regulatory reporting experience preferred
