Division Information

PACCAR Leasing, a PACCAR division, was founded in 1980 to provide premium Kenworth and Peterbilt vehicles to leasing and rental customers. Requisition Summary

Do you have a passion for building customer focused software applications? The PACCAR Leasing IT team is looking for a talented, ambitious, self-directed software developer to lead our projects from conception to launch. As a member of the PACCAR Leasing IT team, your responsibilities will include the design, development, and maintenance of PacLease applications and programs, and the delivery of world class IT solutions for our business partners.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, and implement custom PacLease applications.

  • Participate in the evaluation, build, testing, and implementation of new products and the modification of existing products.
  • Define and propose system architecture and software solutions for new system applications and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, and Subject Matter Experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
  • Estimate development tasks, define work efforts and timelines, and provide project statuses.
  • Work with testers and business teams to triage defects and ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum activities (sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, daily sprint meetings).
  • Provide on-going production support for PacLease systems and applications.
  • Perform tasks regarding change control, incident management, security, and audit.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 5-7+ years developing applications including: C#, .NET development (including ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET CORE).
  • Experience in Java-Script frameworks (Angular.js 1.5, Angular 6.X, JQuery.js, React.js).
  • Experience with SQL, SQL server, and Oracle.
  • Experience designing Restful Web API architectures.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented programming and Design principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of software design, software delivery, and testing methodologies (including test automation).
  • Continuously learn new technologies, and be a technical coach/mentor for the team.
  • Demonstrated strong technical leadership skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment and with all levels of the organization.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
