Requisition Summary

Serve as primary resource for pricing and valuation methodology, including partnering with PFC’s Data Analytics team to develop and support automated pricing tools, for PFC’s Used Equipment Sales Department (UESD). Manage the Sales Analyst group which serves as the primary support for all UESD sales activities of off lease, trade package and repossessed trucks. Activities consist of analyzing sales quotes, preparing data to develop and distribute accurate and timely management reports, supporting the finance sales team with residual quotes, and enhancing existing reporting through data visualization.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Develop methodology for evaluation of pricing trends, and serve as primary resource for pricing valuations.
  • Provide data to support automated pricing models.
  • Utilize Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau, MS Office and other tools to analyze data and provide meaningful management information.
  • Enhance PACCAR Financial’s Used Equipment Management reporting package through the development of new reports and data presentation.
  • Manage the Sales Analyst team and ensure efficient processing, analyzing and recommendation of sales offers with accurate information to achieve maximum resale values on the sale of Used Trucks.
  • Gather and analyze data to prepare (weekly, monthly, quarterly) reports, including adhoc analysis and management reports timely and accurately. Key metrics include pricing trends, sales results and trends, inventory analysis, upcoming lease maturities and trade packages.
  • Collaborate on UESD analytics projects.
  • Facilitate process improvements to increase the speed, accuracy and efficiency across all major functions of the Used Equipment Sales Department.
  • Review and analyze various requests, such as Residual Quotes, Early Lease Terminations, Lease Extensions and Payoffs.
  • Support the Used Equipment Sales Management team as needed.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications Required

  • BA/BS degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related area.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • High integrity.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and persistent with a focus on delivery.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to organize, meet deadlines and deal with areas of ambiguity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Qualifications Desired

  • Five to Seven years of working experience.
  • MBA Degree preferred.
  • Truck specification knowledge.
  • Market knowledge and expertise in determining used truck values and in estimating future values of trucks.
  • Understanding of truck dealerships and dealer/OEM relationships.
  • Heavy Equipment or commercial lending experience.
  • Experience using Tableau.
