Division Information

PACCAR is searching for talented individuals to join our 2019 Summer Internship Program! We are pleased you are seeking an internship with PACCAR and wish you the best of luck!

Internships are scheduled to begin in early to mid May/June 2019.

Requisition Summary

Human Resources Operations Intern will support key Compensation, HR technology, Benefits and Organizational Development strategies. The selected individual will provide a broad range of support for the administration of benefits and compensation programs on a world-wide basis. Additional responsibilities include: supporting business unit and company-wide organizational development initiatives and other projects as assigned. Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Support the HR team in new and ongoing projects.
  • Potential assignments may include: Assistance with global, national or regional compensation market surveys; benefits administration; data entry; monthly reporting to senior leaders; and filing and organizing compliance documentation.
  • Provide support to HR related projects such as; PACCAR’s Career Fair, Health and Wellness Fair, Page Ahead, Global Mobility RFP, intern events, on-boarding and exit processes.
  • Other projects will relate to HR Operation’s strategic goals and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide customer service to employees.
  • Review audit reports and assist with compliance audits.
  • Learn how to automate manual processes using Microsoft Office programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Positive, can-do attitude, attention to detail, high expectations of quality, customer service oriented, desire to learn and develop skill set.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to complete projects on-time and handle ad-hoc assignments.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, is a must.
  • Skilled with technology. (e.g. MS SharePoint, MS Office)
  • Thrive in professional business environment.


Pursuing undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
