Requisition Summary

The Capital Budget Administrator reports directly to the Director of Manufacturing and Capital Budget.  In this role, you will lead the corporate-wide administration of all aspects of the capital budgeting process and perform special projects as required in support of executive management.

 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Reviews, analyzes, and provides summary consolidation of:
    • Preliminary capital budget (June – August)
    • Final capital budget (October – December)
    • All discretionary and CEO capital budget requests
    • Capital budget coordination for "Corporate" entity
  • Provides training in the capital budget system for corporate employees.
  • Coordinates the capital budget submittal and reporting "Corporate" entity.
  • Control and approval of approved capital requests for rolling stock, tooling, and corporate-controlled accounts for all divisions.
  • Manages the daily processing of the capital budget system and updates the capital budget and compliance systems.
  • Special projects and production system support as needed.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Knowledge of engineering, finance and operations including working knowledge and / or graduate-level instruction of industrial and manufacturing engineering, information systems and capital budgeting.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of management.
  • Project management and computer skills, including programming.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to speak English fluently.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Financial, Engineering, IT or related field required.

We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for Capital Budget Administrator role is $84,000 - $131,700 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
