Position Summary

PACCAR provides excellent benefits to our employees and their families. We are proud of our fully funded defined benefit retirement plan and 401(k) plan which has a 93% participation rate.


Our collaborative Corporate Benefits Team works together with HR professionals across the U.S. to ensure our programs are expertly administered and that our plan participants get maximum value. We are looking for a Retirement Benefits Analyst to join our team of professionals who administer our programs, manage our vendor-partners and drive special projects to resolution.


The Retirement Benefits Analyst uses our co-sourced pension administration system to provide pension estimates, calculate final pension benefits and provide support to our retirees.  This team member also supports our supplemental retirement plans (SRP) and 401(k) plans. This includes resolution of escalated issues, audit support, compliance, communications and administration.


Job Functions / Responsibilities

We are looking for a dedicated benefits professional to join our team. In this role, you will:

  • Develop and deliver benefit calculations to plan participants in our retirement plan and SRP.
  • Execute QDROs for Retirement Plan and SRP.
  • Support internal and external audits of the Retirement Plan, 401(k) and SRP.
  • Point of escalation for complex Retirement Plan and 401(k) participant issues.
  • Provide required reporting to internal customers such as Treasury, Accounting and Finance.
  • Provide communication and problem resolution for local HR, payroll, and plan participants.
  • Identify issues in service delivery process, troubleshoot issues and recommend/implement solutions.



  • Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail needed to perform accurate benefit calculations and execution of QDROs.
  • At least five years of benefits (preferably retirement) compliance and administration experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills with strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong project management skills, self-motivated and ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Intermediate-level skill with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and payroll administration systems.



  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • CEBS or other professional benefits designation preferred
  • Master’s degree desirable
