Requisition Summary

Do you have a passion for analyzing business processes and implementing IT process improvements across the organization? The PACCAR Corporate IT Operations team is looking for a talented, ambitious, self-directed business analyst to lead our IT projects from conception to launch. Job Functions / Responsibilities

•    Gather, interpret, and analyze robust business requirements for PACCAR Corporate, Financial, and Leasing divisions to prioritize innovative efforts and automate processes
•    Oversee the comprehensive IT on-boarding process which is responsible for ensuring day-1 readiness for new / incoming transfers that require IT devices and network/system access
•    Develop innovative proposals and lead significant upgrades to reconcile existing IT/business workflows as appropriately prioritized
•    Submit and follow-up on all new-hire Service Request tickets to ensure timely deliverables for all employees starting in a new position for PACCAR Corporate, PFC, and PLC divisions
•    Regularly assist in training Managers and Supervisors on the new-hire process and any related changes to management procedures
•    Act as a liaison between hiring managers and IT to ensure new employees are successfully on-boarded with appropriate access to systems and business apps in a timely fashion.
•    Consistently perform analysis of existing interconnected workflows pertaining to IT, HR, and the business to identify areas of strengths and weakness that may require process improvements to be implemented
•    Regularly identify and produce effective monthly metrics that measure process performance and deliverable results to lead corrective actions as required.
•    Lead IT-related projects and regularly report high-level progress to the Project Managers
•    Document business workflows including process narratives and standard operating procedures to improve the IT knowledge base and help enhance IT support capabilities
•    Actively participate with project teams to ensure proper control and process compliance.
•    Support resolution of Incident Report (IR) and Service Request (SR) tickets for IT Operations using an enterprise-facing IT Service Management platform

Qualifications and Skills

•    Proven competency at analyzing data and producing meaningful output
•    Excellent organizational, prioritization, and customer service skills.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
•    Effective presentation skills are desired
•    Self-motivated and able to work effectively with little or no supervision.
•    Proficient in O365 core applications
•    Project Management, ITIL Foundation, or similar certifications are desired
•    Technical Acumen desired. Full autonomy in the role will require comprehension of the PACCAR IT infrastructure and annual project portfolio


•    Associate’s degree required
•    Bachelors’ degree in Informational Technology, Business Administration, or related disciplines preferred.
