Division Information

Requisition Summary

Manage the Fuel Tax department which is responsible for fuel tax filings, permitting and services for the PacLease franchise locations in the United States and Canada.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manage the processing of fuel tax filings, permitting and services in accordance with State and Federal regulatory agencies.
  • Manage, coordinate and follow to completion various fuel tax-related audits.
  • Oversee implementation of franchise processing of driver trip reports through the necessary training and ongoing support.
  • Ensure that vehicle taxes and registrations are completed accurately and timely.
  • Manage telematics process.
  • Provide excellent customer service to retain existing Franchise accounts and enroll new accounts.
  • Develop and promote effective teamwork between the fuel tax department and other departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Three years in truck rental/leasing industry or related area required.
  • Solid computer skills and systems knowledge highly desired.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective time management, and strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong organization, planning, project management and decision-making skills.
  • Two to three years of supervisory experience required.
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to foster continued process improvements and a "team player."

Education

  • College degree required.
