PDC Team Leader
The opportunity:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced PDC Team Leader to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with team members to ensure the successful achievement of our department’s safety, quality, productivity, delivery, environment, and team objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership position where you can make a real impact by guiding your team, driving improvements, and fostering a positive and safe work environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the team to ensure parts and materials are correctly assembled, fitted, and aligned.
- Manage shortage information, ensuring accurate documentation and communication to relevant parties.
- Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate daily workload allocation and oversee line moves to optimize team productivity and achieve delivery targets.
- Monitor and drive improvements related to team KPI’s
- Conduct audits of Process Learning Instructions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance and support to resolve complex problems, driving corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead 5S activities and champion improvements related to team Key Performance Indicators (SQCD).
- Identify training needs, develop individual training plans, and assist in delivering training to team members.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and environmental responsibility, ensuring all team members are informed and compliant.
- Communicate effectively across departments to resolve quality and supply issues and support smooth operations.

- Experience with Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with an eye for detail.
- Proficient in computer use and familiar with workplace systems and procedures.
- High level of personal integrity and ethics.
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and a good understanding of customer requirements is highly desirable.
