Requisition Summary

The qualified individual will have responsibility for providing Human Resources services and support to Peterbilt Motors Company managers and employees.  

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and create monthly attendance reports.
  • Coordinate and create quarterly vacation planning reports.
  • Co-manage the id-badge system for employees.
  • Provide exceptional customer service when answering employee and manager HR questions.
  • Follow up with employees on missing paperwork, emergency contact information, benefits enrollment, updating
  • I-9s when needed, etc.
  • Co-manage the employee uniform program.
  • Participate on PACCAR HR initiatives project teams and department continuous improvement activities.
  • Provide department administrative support including ordering office and medical supplies, answering phones, forwarding paperwork, and running reports.
  • Assist HR Business Partner with performance management administration. For example, performance appraisal completion reporting. 
  • Provide back-up support to department colleagues during leave, peak load processing, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment and FMLA paperwork.

• 1 - 2 years HR related work or internship experience
• Strong PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint
• HRIS skills: SAP is preferred. Attention to detail is a must
• Demonstrated multi-tasking and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and as a team
• Must be able to manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlines
• Must be able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information and issues
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to get in and out of filing cabinets and use copy machine,
• Ability to distribute confidential HR information throughout Corporate Building
• Must be able to work 9:00pm-7:30am Monday - Thursday
• Undergraduate degree in business or other related field preferred.


Four year degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is preferred.
