PACCAR Innovation Center
The PACCAR Silicon Valley Innovation Center, located in Sunnyvale California, identifies and advances emerging technology research and development for all of PACCAR’s businesses.  The PACCAR Silicon Valley Innovation Center is looking for an ambitious and self-directed Autonomous Vehicle Platform Collaboration Manager. Requisition Summary

The PACCAR Innovation Center is currently seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Platform Collaboration Manager.  You will collaborate with PACCAR’s autonomy partners as the initial point of contact between parties to support the development and delivery of driverless technology to PACCAR customers with the highest quality and performance.

Here's what you will do in this role:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for resolving day-to-day and program level-matters between PACCAR and our autonomy partners.
  • Develop and provide a means for the exchange of information between PACCAR and our autonomy partners.
  • Coordinate activities and action between parties, including technical and commercial aspects.
  • Provide oversite and management of issues arising from the collaboration.
  • Track and communicate collaboration status, including weekly activities, escalation of issues and reporting to the program Steering Committee.
  • Travel to PACCAR divisions and partner facilities for ongoing program support.
  • Coordinate with Tier 1 component suppliers as needed to support partner collaboration.
  • Drive discussions between PACCAR and partner business development to evaluate and advance new product and service offerings related to the collaboration.
  • Provide written and verbal updates to management on program objectives and strategic goals.

You're going to need this to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.  Master’s Degree preferred in Engineering or Business.
  • 10+ years of experience in automotive engineering.
  • Managerial leadership experience required.
  • Technical experience in:
    • Automotive product development and or R&D, preferably commercial vehicle.
    • Enabling technologies for AD/ADAS, Electrification and Connectivity
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and processes.
  • Willingness to grow personally and professionally while demonstrating ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner.
  • Demonstrated professional and effective communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Travel required.
