Requisition Summary

Chief pilot for Corporate Flight Department operating two Falcon 50 EX and one Citation jet aircraft under FAA Part 91.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Keep informed of the latest developments with the business aviation community, including the FARs, and other Federal, state, local and foreign regulations affecting operations.
  • Ensure that revisions and amendments to the standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are current.
  • Instruct and train flight crews in the use of the Company SOP manual.
  • Establish and supervise the initial and recurrent flight crew training with a professional training facility.
  • Prepare and distribute periodic reports and statistics as required.
  • Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts and monitor the current budget implementation.
  • Be accessible to all departmental employees through company cell phones and email.
  • Complete annual Departmental and Corporate training.
  • Work a nonstandard schedule.
  • Manage pilot hiring as necessary.
  • Participate in domestic and international flight crewing and travel internationally.
  • Conduct other aviation management duties as assigned (e.g. hangar and facility inspections).


  • Airline Transport Pilots License (ATPL).
  • Current First Class medical certificate
  • Multi engine land and appropriate Type rating.
  • Current Pilot in Command (PIC) proficiency endorsements (FAR 61.58).
  • Minimum 5000 hours total flight time.
  • 1000 hours in turbine-powered multi-engine aircraft.
  • Speak and understand radiotelephony communications -ICAO Annex 1.
  • Pass TSA and Port of Seattle background screening for ID badge and ramp driving privileges.
  • Valid passport and driver’s license.
  • Strong customer service skills, high attention to detail, adaptable, excellent follow-through and responsiveness.

Preferred Experience

  • Current Dassault Falcon 50EX Type rating.
  • Safety Management Systems (SMS) and risk assessment.

Physical Demands

  • Working indoors and outdoors in all types of weather. 
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, pushing and pulling.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.


  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred, High School Diploma Required.
  • Proficiency with business software including: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
