Division Information

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.  This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.  Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers. 

Requisition Summary

We are seeking an inspiring, energetic leader for our rapidly growing Vehicle Support Center in Renton, Washington.  The Vehicle Support Center Supervisor co-leads a high performing team of vehicle support specialists to deliver exceptional service, increase loyalty, and far exceed industry norms.  In this role, you will have responsibility for developing and executing strategic initiatives to improve ease of doing business and help manage the PACCAR Parts Vehicle Support Center team driving industry leading UPTIME.  

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Resolve issues and roadblocks for team on product, tools and documentation with Kenworth, Peterbilt, PACCAR Technical Center, Corporate Powertrain, ITD, Materials and DAF.
  • Coach and develop employees to maximize performance and maintain department training skills including current certification and regulatory requirements.  Ensure knowledge based articles are being created, updated and published.
  • Assign and prioritize workload based on case volumes ensuring rapid and accurate responses are provided to maximize customer UPTIME.
  • Measure and improve daily, monthly and yearly performance metrics.  Lead continuous improvement projects to make improvements.
  • Deliver senior level management presentation including tours within the PACCAR Customer Center

Qualifications

  • Exceptional technical skills and ability to understand complex electrical and mechanical systems with the ability to identify customer needs and transform them into solutions. 
  • Ability to communicate well, both verbally and written, with various levels of stakeholders within and outside of the organization.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and performance management skills. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data, identify areas of opportunity and deliver improvements.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment with changing schedules and requirements
  • Comprehensive understanding of PACCAR Systems including AS400, ECAT, Dealernet, TCS365, Rapido, (RMI) PACCAR Engine Pro
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or related field required; MBA desired.
  • 2 to 5 years experience in PACCAR or equivalent industry company required.
  • Diesel Engine Design or Automotive Technical experience
  • 3 to 4 years of leadership experience
  • Six Sigma process knowledge
