Division Information

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.  This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.  Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers. 

Requisition Summary

PACCAR Parts has an exciting Customer Service Analytics summer internship opening at our headquarters in Renton, WA. The selected candidate will work directly with Customer Service – Service Management team, gaining exposure and experience in Customer Service.

  • Learn first-hand from top industry professionals
  • Work directly with Managers and Senior Managers
  • Develop mentoring relationships with Customer Service leaders
  • Gain valuable hands on experience
Job Functions / Responsibilities

•    Developing dashboards and analytics on service data including remote diagnostics, Service Management, and TCS365 data
•    Updating existing dashboards to make data visually appealing and simple to both navigate and comprehend for end-users
•    Aggregating data from various sources to construct streamlined data pipelines to use in future analytics projects
•    Conducting customer data analysis to identify truck service performance trends, including customer downtime. 
•    Work with division program leaders to improve the data collected from Service systems. 
•    Assisting with Six Sigma projects. 

Qualifications

•    Relevant coursework or prior internship experience desired
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Strong organizational and project management skills
•    Self-motivation and energetic personality
•    Team-oriented
•    Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
•    Ability to handle multiple priorities
•    Strong PC Skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Education

•    Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
•    Junior or senior standing preferred
