Division Information

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.  This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.  Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers. 

Requisition Summary

PACCAR Parts has an exciting HR summer internship opening at our headquarters in Renton, WA. The selected candidate will work directly HR professionals, gaining exposure and experience in multiple HR functions including: Event planning, recruitment, benefits, employee relations and more.

  • Learn first-hand from top industry professionals
  • Work directly with Managers and Senior Managers
  • Develop mentoring relationships with HR leaders
  • Gain valuable hands on experience

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Develop onboarding informational packets for new and relocating employees
  • Develop informal peer recognition program
  • Lead and/or assist in coordinating division employee engagement activities such as the annual Health & Wellness Fair, Summer Social and PageAhead Book Drive
  • Develop mid-year exit data analysis and present recommendations

Other HR responsibilities will include:

  • Providing general HR Support to PACCAR Parts employees
  • Perform annual HR file audit
  • Bi-weekly Payroll entry support


  • HR related coursework or internship experience preferred
  • Strong PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint
  • HRIS skills: SAP is preferred
  • Attention to detail, ability to multi-tasking  and excellent organizational skills
  • Must be able to manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlines



  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program
  • Junior or senior standing preferred
