Requisition Summary

This position is a key member of the newly developed PACCAR Supplier Development team. The senior analyst will be responsible for developing and administering processes to continuously survey and communicate with the supply base. The key objective is to identify constraints and risks within the supply base to prevent impacts to PACCAR operations. As a newly created function, tasks and duties will vary and will include engagement with internal stakeholders and PACCAR suppliers. The analyst will also be responsible for ensuring Supplier Development requirements are included in the future GPPS system.


This position will be located in Renton, Washington at the Information Technology Division (ITD).

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Daily activities in support of this mission include:

  • Develop and administer periodic supplier surveys to identify and clarify risks within the supply base.
  • Perform analysis on survey response to provide actionable information.
  • Develop and maintain a North American build forecast.
  • Conduct supplier webinars and follow up activities to ensure demand information is clearly communicated to the supply base.
  • Develop and administer SharePoint sites for the department.
  • Host and run weekly materials supply calls to maintain and track focus on improvement activities.
  • Work with business analysts and ITD to ensure Supplier Development requirements are included in new system enhancements.
  • Participate on the NAMS project to ensure Supplier Development requirements are integrated in the digital strategy.
  • Create work instructions and guidelines to train personnel on Supplier Development processes.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 5-7 years of PACCAR purchasing and supply chain experience.
  • Experience with SAP BW Report Writing.
  • Creative, quality and results-driven work ethic.
  • Demonstrated leadership to accomplish company goals.
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, & presentation.
  • Advanced PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Tableau).


  • Bachelors Degree
  • SAP BW training
