Division Information

PACCAR Parts

PACCAR Parts operates a network of parts distribution centers offering aftermarket support to Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF dealers and customers around the world. Aftermarket support includes customer call centers operating 24 hours a day throughout the year and technologically advanced systems to enhance inventory control and expedite order processing.

Requisition Summary

Manage parts sales for assigned markets, including one or more Special Markets (Bus; Clean Air Products, Public Sector, Oil & Gas (Industrial Products), Winch and Natural Gas Engine Components. Coordinate and promote parts sales program through support of Kenworth and Peterbilt parts sales teams, dealer visits, end-user customer visits and marketing programs.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth through aggressive dealer and customer visits in coordination with District Parts Managers, promoting part sales, programs, systems and marketing plans for the bus and public sector market segments.
  • Develop a close working relationship with dealer parts and service teams to accomplish parts sales goals and dealer program participation goals while maintaining network consistency.
  • Work with Dealer Principal and dealer management to serve as consultant to dealers' parts and service business growth/profitability.
  • Train dealer personnel on key initiatives, programs and systems.
  • Assist dealer personnel in identifying and developing key accounts.
  • Act as liaison between dealer, PACCAR Parts Division and other PACCAR Divisions in resolving issues related to bus and public sector market segments, as needed in close coordination with PACCAR Parts field teams.
  • 75% travel required.
  • Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree in business or related field required. 
  • Previous sales experience preferably within the truck and/or bus industry.
  • Thorough knowledge of truck, bus and trailer product, parts marketing and operations, gained through three or more years of industry-related experience preferred. 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as ability to manage multiple programs/projects at one time.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes to achieve results; proven results at exceeding sales targets and related goals
  • Strong PC skills including experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Master’s Degree a plus
  • Bi-lingual skills a plus
  • Ability to relocate
