Requisition Summary

Manages product groups for specific business units in support of the Mexican market. Responsibilities include identification of market requirements, management of country specific product offerings, program communications to dealers and sales force, supplier relationships, distribution and pricing strategies, currency exchange, promotion and advertising plan towards achieving established profit and sales objectives.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Achieves country specific objectives for sales, gross margin and profit  for specific SBUs
  • Develops  market specific product offerings, branding, distribution and pricing strategies for the business unit.
  • Manages supplier relationship with PACCAR Parts, including product offering, terms of sale, and other PPD expectations of supplier, supplier performance and corrective actions.
  • Work with dealers and sales force to identify country specific product opportunities and requirements
  • Develops and maintains all dealer communications for country specific programs
  • Plans promotions, dealer direct marketing events, product sales training, cataloging and other program support
  • Works with Aftermarket Purchasing and suppliers to negotiate cost reductions for country specific product programs

Skills / Competencies

  •  Strong analytical, communication and negotiation abilities
  •  Proven ability to drive high impact results
  •  Demonstrated ability to succeed in a multicultural business environment
  •  Six Sigma Belt with DFSS experience desired
  • Ability to work successfully and collaboratively within a cross-functional business environment
  • Understanding of key drivers of the aftermarket parts business including part replacement rates, key competitors, substitution alternatives,  maintenance/repair practices and service requirements.
  • Demonstrated negotiating skills leading to win-win results
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including ability to present findings and recommendations to senior level management


  • Four year college degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Enginering or Sales required
  • MBA or other advanced degree desired
  • Three or more years experience in a commercial role such as Purchasing, Marketing or Sales required
  • Strong analysis, communication and negotiating skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team oriented, multi-functional business environment
  • Strong knowledge of Excel,Acess, AS400, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Business experience in Mexico or Latin America and Six Sigma Belt experience desired
  • Fluent in Spanish (spoken/written) required
