POSITION PURPOSE

Performs essential Global IT Supplier functions including the management of new and renewal contracts, buying goods and services up to $25k, participating in the development and management of RFx’s and SOW’s using Six Sigma tool, analyzing supplier spend and related data, managing the supplier Performance Rating, and maintaining department process documentation.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Managing IT contracts, renewals and costs
  • Organize and manage solicitations
  • Create and manage NDA’s
  • Plan and organize all activities for ITD’s Supplier Partner Day
  • Purchasing IT goods and services up to $25k
  • Support software license management
  • Coordinating purchasing activities exceeding $25k with Corporate Purchasing
  • Scheduling, coordinating and establishing agendas for Business Review meetings with key suppliers
  • Maintaining the IT supplier Team Services site ensuring information is current & relevant
  • Maintaining purchasing files and functional process documentation
  • Preparing & analyzing supplier spend and reporting relevant trending information
  • Developing and reporting on monthly top 25 suppliers

 

 
EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL USED

Intermediate to advanced computer system skills including the use of word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and Power BI/Tableau.  Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint for internal and supplier portal development and maintenance.

 

 
WORK SETTING
Position is located in Building B of ITD.  Workspace is located in the Global IT Suppliers area.  Position requires frequent sitting and walking to all areas of ITD.

Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job is acceptable.  A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

 
  • EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree

 

  • TYPE AND NUMBER OF YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

1 to 3 years of recent, relevant, and progressively responsible experience in at least one of the following areas preferred: contract management, purchasing and/or other experience directly related to the position description.

 

  • SPECIFIC INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
