Division Information

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.  This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.  Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers. 

Requisition Summary

The PC/LAN Analyst supports the day-to-day operations to both the division office and warehouses and is responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting the PC infrastructure (hardware and software). This position provides Tier 2 customer support involving end-user applications and PC incident resolution to local and remote users in a large environment, via a centralized help desk and ticketing system. This position is also responsible for responding, documenting and resolving service tickets in a timely manner according to SLAs. The PC/LAN Analyst must have excellent problem solving skills in order to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations, or when appropriate, escalate or route them to appropriate IT staff members.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain and support PC infrastructure including hardware and software
  • Windows 7, 10 & Server Administration
  • Asset management including purchasing IT hardware, software, and equipment
  • Analyze existing operations and make recommendations for improvement and growth of the infrastructure
  • Maintain documentation including departmental and end-user policies, procedures, and diagrams
  • Provide end-user training for Microsoft Office products and PACCAR systems
  • Special projects as assigned


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required
  • Experience with setup and/or administration of Windows 7/8/10, MS Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server, Office suite and Active Directory

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification preferred CompTIA A+, Security+, and/or Microsoft MCP
  • Powershell
  • Experience with MS Windows 2008/2012 Server, infrastructure services, Office 365, Exchange, SQL or SharePoint
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Provide set up assistance and support for mobile and remote computing including personal mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.)
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
