Division Information

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.  This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.  Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers. 

Requisition Summary

This position is responsible for coordinating all efforts geared towards the certification of any new standards; as well as the continued re-certification of current Quality and Environmental standards.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manages the relationship and listings with regulatory agencies and organizations to maintain certification to specific industry standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001). Liaison with the external assessment body on all matters related to the accreditation process.
  • Manage the environmental objectives and processes necessary to deliver results in accordance with the organization’s environmental policy.  Ensure these processes are monitored, measured and results are reported.
  • Manage the objectives of the quality management system in accordance with customers’ requirements and the organization’s policies: its processes, the resources needed to deliver results, and the risks/opportunities.  Ensure these processes are monitored, measured and results are reported.
  • Ensure that all suppliers used by the organization are selected, evaluated, re-evaluated and that records of these assessments are maintained.
  • Ensure that top management undertakes periodic but regular assessments of customer satisfaction and that continual improvement is identified as well as implemented.
  • Ensure the promotion and awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.  Maintain a documented control procedure to approve, review and update all changes to critical documents within the scope of ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.

Skills / Competencies

  • Ability to present and communicate to all levels of management.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment with little to no supervision. 
  • Direct experience in developing and implementing waste minimization plans and programs. 
  • Experience with development and management of budgets desired.
  • Bachelor's degree in the area of Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Environmental studies or related field required. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience implementing and establishing environmental and quality performance requirements.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience coordinating ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in large organizations.
  • Proficiency in software applications Vizio, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word. Ability to create/maintain procedures and flow charts.
  • Travel up to 25% required.
  • Six Sigma training is a plus, but not required.
