PACCAR Parts

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.  This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.  Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers. 

Requisition Summary

Provide sales and marketing management support for effective execution of PPD marketing and advertising programs.  Evaluate and execute a marketing plan for an assigned group of truck dealers, product lines and parts.  Requires project planning and telephone sales expertise, coordination with multiple departments within PPD, our outside advertising agency, and the dealer body to ensure success of marketing and advertising programs.  Strong analytical and communication skills required to coordinate creative development, maintain program participation, recommend products to advertise and suggest dealer inventory to support promotions.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Monthly dealer contact to ensure effective and timely direct mail and electronic flyer delivery.  Includes planning, providing feedback, reviewing and finalizing monthly flyer development with outside agency to ensure PACCAR Parts marketing strategy, style guidelines, and consistent appearance are met.   Maintain consistent dealer participation in flyer program through regular dealer communication.
  • Work with our Canadian dealers, especially with our Kenworth and Peterbilt French dealers in Quebec.
  • Support PACCAR Parts sales group and dealers with marketing programs through regular communications to dealers and district parts managers.   Monitor participation in marketing programs for reporting, analysis and billing.  Assists in training dealers on the various marketing programs through site visits and online training.      
  • Collaborate with Training and Marketing Programs groups for integration of Training, Merchandising and Loyalty Card programs into RPM umbrella. Assist with DealerNet postings.
  • Assist in various online and classroom dealer training events, including Parts & Service meetings as well as other departmental trainings as needed.
  • Other Marketing Services projects and monthly Advisor tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, advertising required. 
  • Minimum of three years marketing, advertising, inside sales or telemarketing experience.  
  • Team player with excellent communication with effective problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail with strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Advance PC skills, including MS Office package (Excel, Access).
  • Graphic design skills a plus.
  • Knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts and components.
  • Highly motivated self-starter and self-directed learner with a creative mind.
  • Attitude of continuous improvement and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Database/analytics skills strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel for dealer training opportunities.
  • Strong presentation skills. 
  • Six Sigma Belt a plus.
