Division Information
PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.
The Role
The Supplier Services Support team provides operational, administrative and development support for PACCAR’s Suppliers and Trading Partners Globally. This manager supervises the resources responsible for the Electronic Data Interface (EDI) Platform, Applications and Support. The team is comprised of administrators, systems analysts, EDI developers and tier 1 support for external trading partners.
Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Supervise and develop the EDI team
- Manage work intake, prioritization, assignment and maintenance of EDI Applications
- Ensure adherence to PACCAR’s change management process
- Responsible for the design and architecture of scalable and robust EDI solutions
- Develop global processes related to EDI services and support
- Communicate progress, priority and schedule to requesting business divisions
- Oversee operational support for EDI platform and applications, including issue resolution
- Responsible for developing and maintaining Key Performance Indicators for EDI systems and services
- Act as SCRUM master for the department’s agile practice
- Coordinate resource availability with other impacted development teams
Qualifications
- Experience managing integrated teams responsible for both development and operational support
- Strong leadership, project management and general management skills, including planning and people development and management
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to define application strategies, roadmaps and funding requests
- Strong communication skills and self-motivation
- Creative and analytical problem solving skills
- Ability to make sound independent decisions
- Experience with a variety of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, COTS)
- Experience with business process development and management
- 3-5 years of progressive experience with EDI including, but not limited to: electronic communication protocols that provide standards for exchanging data, EDI Standards for EDIFACT and X12, EDI transport platforms (VANs, Sterling Integrator, and Gentran), and EDI application mapping techniques
- Experience interfacing EDI with SAP and SAP IDOCS desirable
- Familiar with programming languages, such as .Net, COBOL
- Familiar with database technologies including DB2, IMS, Oracle and SQL
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required

Additionally, this role is eligible for a full range of benefit options listed above. This position is also eligible for a holiday gift.
