Managed Dealer Inventory (MDI) Supervisor - Mexico & Central America Job

Requisition Summary

Manage and lead a staff of Mexico and Latin America MDI Analysts toward attainment of departmental goals.  Work to promote outstanding retail stocking availability and ensure a high level of dealer participation in the MDI program.  Manages implementation of dealers on the MDI program and evaluate current dealer inventory performance and works to promote change where appropriate to support attainment of department and division goals.  Works with Strategic Business Units, District Parts Managers, Marketing Team and MDI Analysts to increase parts sales through dealers on the MDI system.  Displays a communicative and proactive leadership style, and exhibits teamwork with other departments and within the MDI department.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Promote retail business growth by working with Analysts to increase retail stocking availability, reduce forecast error, and retail surplus and obsolescence.
  • Work to ensure that MDI participation rates remain high through attainment of MDI utilization.
  • Project management to promote further efficiencies within MDI by identifying and championing opportunities for process improvement.
  • Conduct regular desk reviews with Analysts to identify action plans in support of objectives.
  • Manage the MDI Goals and Align with Sales initiatives.    
  • Assist with the coordination of MDI dealer training clinics and other MDI events.


  • Bachelors degree in business, supply chain, or analytical field required, MBA desired.
  • Spanish language proficiency required.
  • Inventory control or product distribution experience. 
  • Experience leading projects. 
  • Knowledge of truck parts and components. 
  • Advanced PC skills in Excel and Access.
  • Experience with Inventory Management software such as JDA preferred. SQL, Tableau, Snowflake experience is a plus.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills. 
  • Travel 5-10%

Salary Range:

At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $78,100 - $122,300 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
