Division Information

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.  This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.  Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers. 

Requisition Summary

This entry-level General Accountant will process SAP system payroll for Distribution Center employees, coordinate the Division’s incentive compensation program, assist with monthly financial results, forecast, and inter-company/division cross-charges. This position will also provide administrative support for the purchase order system (Company Store), Visa Corporate credit cards, and for the Division and Worldwide Controllers.

This position will report to the Manager of Financial Analysis.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for hourly employees in US parts distribution centers
  • Process incoming Inter-company/division transactions
  • Coordinate and prepare support for the Executive Incentive Compensation program
  • Develop and publish monthly financial results reporting and presentations
  • Assist with forecast preparation
  • Process inter-company/division transactions
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and record journal entries
  • Participate in internal control reviews including Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
  • Administrative support for Division and Worldwide Controllers, Corporate credit card program, and purchase order system

 

Skills / Competencies

BA/BS In Accounting (or Finance) required

0-2 years related work experience desired (entry level ok)

MBA/CPA desired

Qualifications

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and take initiative to produce results
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word (Access is a plus)
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a team
