Requisition Summary
As a DevOps Automation Engineer at PACCAR, you will provide strategy and technical leadership in the implementation and development of automation processes that lead to cost reduction and business agility. You will drive valuable and insightful metrics reporting on new and ongoing processes. A successful candidate will be someone who has experience leading teams, strong problem-solving skills, and a background in software development. Job Functions / Responsibilities
•    Spearheading planning, designing, development, implementing and testing activities for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or other automation tooling and projects.
•    Automating web, desktop, and mainframes applications and managing those automation workloads and tooling.
•    Practioner of all phases of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) 
•    Performing process assessments including suitability, maintainability, and supportability for automations.
•    Providing guidance and recommendations for streamlining divisional level processes, systems, procedures, and templates as needed in accordance with best practices.
•    Creating process documents; this will include but not limited to gathering requirements, process design and technical specification.
•    Driving valuable and insightful metric reporting or business process improvement and benefit realization


Qualifications & Skills
•    2+ year of automation experience with RPA tooling.
•    3+ years of software development experience.
•    Experience with systems analysis and triage.
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills
•    Experience leading teams and effective implementation


•    A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent is required.


Work settings:
•    Minimal bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
•    Requires frequent sitting and walking. 
•    Availability to work “on-call” 24 hours/day for emergencies, and flexibility in schedule and priority demands including supporting an enterprise level Data Center.
•    Position could be required to minimal traveling up to 10%
•    Ability to occasionally lift equipment up to 25 pounds.
