PACCAR Parts

PACCAR Parts is the global provider of aftermarket parts and services to support Kenworth, Peterbilt, DAF and TRP dealers around the world.  This includes 18 distribution centers globally that support 2,200 dealerships and over 1,000,000 customers.  Aftermarket support includes world class customer centers that deliver industry leading uptime in conjunction with our outstanding supply chain that delivers record levels of inventory availability for dealers and customers. 

Requisition Summary

The Cummins Warranty Analyst is responsible for processing dealer replacement parts warranty claim/credit requests per Division Policies and Department Guidelines.  The Cummins Warranty Analyst will validate credits and work with the supplier to ensure claims are processed accurately and timely. Manages workloads to assist in meeting Departmental goals.  Identifies and communicates warranty issues and assists in resolution.

 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Process supplier credits
• Respond to Dealer inquiries and calls
• Evaluates complex claims and makes claim payment decisions per departmental procedures and company policies.
• Responds to dealer inquiries and communicates division policies and procedural requirements in a professional and timely manner.
• Assists in development of the Warranty department web site and internal references using FrontPage.
• Creates and maintains databases, analyses, graphs and reports, using Access and Excel.

Skills / Competencies

  • Bachelor degree or actively pursuing a degree
  • One year of data entry and customer service experience required
  • Strong analytical aptitude using Excel and Access
  • The ability to work independently and to make decisions based on department policies and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer service orientation
  • Must have the ability to multi task and manage changing priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines
