Requisition Summary
The Corporate Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing PACCAR Parts corporate communication strategy to drive awareness and strengthened brand equity in North America.

This individual will work closely with marketing, human resources and cross-functional teams to develop campaign and program related communications and ensure that all messaging and content support the PACCAR Parts brand and culture. This role will also support the brand marketing team with the project management of larger initiatives.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to develop messaging strategies that articulate and deliver PACCAR Parts brand to key stakeholders. Create cohesive internal and external-facing communications that amplify PPD’s mission.
  • Stay current with market trends and competitive activity. Share insights with cross-functional teams to optimize campaigns, program messaging and develop content.
  • Support the assessment, measurement, and continuous improvement of corporate communications to create greater discipline, consistency, and effectiveness.
  • Act as the main point of contact for internal communication efforts for HR, internal committees, internal newsletters and PACCAR Parts events.
  • Maintain an annual calendar of events and milestones and assist in planning and execution of internal messaging, meetings and conferences.
  • Develop internal communications processes and guidelines to assist other teams with planning their marketing efforts.
  • Project management to support brand marketing team projects (trade shows, meetings, PACCAR internal displays)
  • Oversee the creation of PACCAR Parts internal newsletter, maintain content on intranet, ensure uniformity and adherence to PACCAR Parts guidelines and branding initiatives in print and online.
  • Demonstrate exceptional judgement, agility and collaboration when partnering with stakeholders. Previous experience directly supporting senior leadership is a plus.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on Public Relations, English, Journalism, Business or related field.
     

Skills

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with designers and marketing managers to create visual communications.
  • Ability to build relationships with key influencers and communicate effectively with all levels of management. Able to set and meet objectives with limited supervision and direction. Project management experience required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Three to five years of communications experience.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with vendor contracts.
  • Experience in proofreading communication media accurately (text, video, photo).
  • Ability to prioritize, conduct research and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects with changing priorities.
  • Solutions-oriented self-starter with the desire to grow.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
