Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the ISO Business Management System (BMS) to ensure individual system owners are actively leading the efforts in maintaining and improving relevant requirements of the ISO 9001, USI 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Serve as an internal consultant for current ISO business processes and requirements. Lead network wide Six Sigma projects to improve BMS.
  • Manages the relationship and listings with regulatory agencies/consultants to maintain certification to specific industry standards. Liaison with the external assessment body on all matters related to the accreditation process.
  • Plan and lead integrated ISO Audits for the Division office and all the North American Distribution Centers to ensure processes are properly controlled and functioning as designed. Work with individual system owners to create audit teams, conduct audits, generate opportunities for improvement (OFI’s) and minor/major nonconformance findings, and work to approved corrective action responses, 
  • Conduct in-depth annual reviews with PPD NA Senior Management to evaluate BMS policies, open action items, changes to strategic plant, effectiveness of system, performance to objectives measurements, adequacy of resources and opportunities for improvement. Report out on performance to objectives quarterly.
  • Mentor distribution network Belts on Six Sigma projects and provide guidance throughout the methodology process. 
  • Develop training material on Six Sigma Methodology tools and principles and conduct regular training session for the Operations Network.

Skills / Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate to all levels of management effectively.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment with little to no supervision. 
  • Direct experience in developing and implementing waste minimization plans and programs. 
  • Experience with development of budgets and capital project submissions.
  • Bachelor's degree in the area of Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or related field required. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience auditing required. Audit Trainer Certification desired.
  • Proven experience developing training programs for process improvement.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience coordinating ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 in a distribution setting.
  • Proficiency in software applications Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word. Ability to create/maintain procedures and flow charts.
  • Travel up to 25% required.
  • Six Sigma training required, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification desired.

Salary Range:

At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $89,900 - $140,500 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
