Position Summary

Create and implement programs and strategies for marketing communications on behalf of PACCAR Parts Genuine and TRP aftermarket brands and Kenworth and Peterbilt dealers in North America. Responsibilities include direction and oversight of branded advertising, merchandising, product packaging, multi-media, event marketing, and other communications programs as required. Requires high degree of specialized communications design and implementation knowledge. Position integrates with PACCAR Parts Marketing teams globally and works independently as well as under direct supervision of senior management. 
 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic direction on all branding functions. Works with internal stakeholders and external creative services and graphic suppliers to supervise, design and coordinate consistency of image and message across all North American PACCAR branded parts and service advertising, promotion and merchandising materials.
  • Coordinates with Retail Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Manager and National Dealer Training Manager on programs related to the RPM dealer direct advertising, loyalty marketing, email advertising, events and dealer training programs.
  • Directs Creative Services Manager & Special Programs Manager positions in creation and implementation of multi-media projects, service marketing materials, exhibitions and packaging design. 
  • Directs Communications Specialist positions(s) in the development and delivery of national brand advertising campaigns, annual public relations programs as well as support assignments for other marketing programs as needed.
  • Provides strategic direction and oversight to Retail Merchandising Manager responsible for annual dealer merchandising programs.
  • Directs and monitors Multi-Media Manager in development and coordination of Division presentations, video and related graphics projects. 
  • Manages development of content for monthly Marketing Campaign link on dealer website and the PACCAR Parts homepage.
     

Skills:

  • Knowledge of print and multi-media production processes and ability to negotiate pricing and terms with vendors.
  • Project Management knowledge as it applies to the creative development and finished production of branding, advertising, e-mail campaigns, events, merchandising and promotional marketing materials.
  • Ability to direct and critique copy and graphics for advertising, merchandising, promotional marketing materials and internal communications. 
  • Ability to manage multiple strategic and tactical tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel a must. 
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or equivalent program
  • Masters Degree in Marketing Communications, Management or related field a plus. 
  • 5-7 Years experience in managing and implementing marketing communications programs
