PACCAR Parts operates a network of parts distribution centers offering aftermarket support to Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF dealers and customers around the world. Aftermarket support includes customer call centers operating 24 hours a day throughout the year and technologically advanced systems to enhance inventory control and expedite order processing.

Requisition Summary

Under general supervison, performs a variety of functions that involve customer service, receiving, shipping, quality and traffic. Office functions are routine in scope and are carried out in accordance with general work instructions and established office practices, procedures, policies and guidelines. Office activities may be conducted on a rotation and/or shared basis as required. Daily activities may vary as determined by the job focus and customer requirements.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

Receptionist or telephone CSR duties for both internal and external customers. Problem solving of customer and other internal work related issues.

Data entry. Customer order maintenance and relevant filing. Processing and maintaining of stocking and shipping documentation.

Processing of inbound receiving exceptions and vendor compliance. Communicate with Suppliers, Dealers, and Division Office Employees.

Wave maintenance of export and international shipments and preparing shipping documents.

Complete quality improvement and inventory control documentation as required.

Call center activities, accounts receivable/payable tasks.

Ability to react to change productively and to handle tasks as assigned.

Maintain regular full-time attendance in compliance with internal attendance policy.

Assist in the training of other employees, compile information to produce weekly/monthly reports, and general filing, as required.

Essential cross-training and rotation through all warehouse functions as business needs dictate.

Qualifications & Skills Required

High School diploma or GED. [1-2 years of college desirable]

More than one year of PC working experience. PC literate in MSWord, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Ability to perform and communicate professionally under pressure.

Ability to work positively and harmoniously with co-workers.

Possess basic problem solving, math and number recognition skills.

Ability to perform detailed work with numerical and alpha data, making arithmetic data entry rapidly and accurately.

One or more years experience in an Distribution Center, inventory control, AP or AR environment.

Able to work in the office or warehouse physical environments as required. Occassional warehouse equipment operation desired.

Knowledge of AS400 / ASI Warehouse Management Systems
