Requisition Summary

Manage group responsible for executing annual OBD testing for PACCAR MX engines in North America to ensure regulatory compliance along with customer satisfaction. Additional responsibilities include creation, and management of highly-technical OBD documentation submitted by PACCAR for North American engine certifications along with testing and validating PACCAR powertrain service tools for MX engines.

Division Information


The PACCAR Technical Center provides engineering excellence to the truck, engine, and winch divisions of PACCAR  Inc through innovative product development and testing. The Technical Center is located in the Skagit Valley about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington. 

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Guide, manage technical challenges of OBD for PACCAR interactions with agencies. 
  • Create and manage regulatory documentation
  • Propose improvements to documentation management, creation, and distribution of OBD and regulatory PACCAR documentation
  • Support validation of PACCAR powertrain service tools

Qualifications

  • 4+ years or more experience with powertrain
  • Experience managing highly-skilled engineering group
  • 3-8 years of experience in gasoline or diesel industries
  • Multiple years of experience with diesel engine regulations
  • Experience in one or more of these engine areas: DOC, DPF, SCR, FIE, EGR and air control, combustion

Education

A BSME/BSEE is required; an advanced degree in engineering or related field is preferred
