Requisition Summary
PACCAR Leasing Company is seeking a Diesel Technician to support a fast pace service center. This position will perform a variety of skilled tasks including proper maintenance, repairs, washing and fueling trucks and other duties as assigned
Shift And Compensation
1st Shift; Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Pay will be Depending on Experience (DOE): $15 – 18 per hour
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service to clients
- Perform diagnostic inspections on general truck-tractor systems utilizing both mechanical diagnostics and system software diagnostics
- Perform preventative maintenance inspection of truck-tractor components.
- Ability to work in a team based environment
Qualifications
- Safety conscious and knowledge of general shop safety
- Membership to the Ontario College of Trades
- Truck and Coach license preferred
- Knowledge of Ministry of Transportation rules and requirements
- Available for full-time work
Education
- High School Diploma required
- Certificate of completion for a Diesel Technician program strongly preferred
