Division Information

PACCAR’s Information Technology Division (ITD), located in Renton, WA utilizes cutting-edge technology to provide systems development, consulting, voice and data communications services to the entire Corporation, which has high visibility in the technology sector.

Requisition Summary
We are looking for a special, high-impact person – the kind of contributor who is willing to get into the details and wants to make a big difference for our business by developing best-in-class systems solutions to support our diverse business teams.  This team member will be working on one or more, small to large projects that require versatile skills in SAP modules. This position will research and resolve problems, develop functional specifications from business requirements, coordinate technical support, participate in cost benefit analysis, and contribute to software and process solutions. This position is responsible for gathering, compiling and synthesizing information with regard to core technology, processes or systems.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Maintains global master data in SAP systems by ensuring data integrity
  • Assists in project cutover activities to load master data in SAP Systems using tools like Winshuttle, LSMW etc.
  • Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies.
  • Ensures quality of master data in key systems, as well as, development and documentation of processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity.
  • Manages, analyzes, and resolves data initiative issues and manages revisions needed to best meet internal and customer requirements while adhering to published data standards.
  • Assists in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners to ensure functional master data integrity across the operation of financial systems is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
  • Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.
  • Provide Production Support to the business after release or project go-live
  • Provide ad-hoc systems support as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Up to 25% travel domestically and internationally
  • On call availability 24/7
  • 5+ years of combined business and configuration experience in SAP Master Data or equivalent experience support SAP MM and SD modules
  • Experience developing and executing Winshuttle scripts preferred
  • Maintained high level of quality while working under pressure and deadlines.
  • Analytical ability to synthesis data and reporting on metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate both in verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Proven ability to stay organized.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on an existing suite of complex applications
  • A working knowledge of project management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field required
