Division Information

Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in McKinney, TX. a suburb of Dallas. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For fifty years Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck divisions and PACCAR Parts division with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services. Dynacraft has production facilities in Algona, WA., Louisville, KY. and McKinney, TX.

Requisition Summary

Dynacraft is seeking a highly motivated professional with strong critical thinking skills. The team member will utilize his/her skill sets to manage the division Internal Control program and develop forecast analytics.  The successful candidate will work directly with the division leadership as well as department managers. The position has a high potential for growth and requires an individual that will take initiative and be a self-starter.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Preparation of the monthly forecast including analysis of key business changes.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process.
  • Manage SOX and internal control reviews.
  • Participate in the month-end closing process including journal entries, financial statement review and corporate reporting requirements preparation.
  • Perform variance analysis on overhead expense.
  • Perform system access reviews.
  • Ensure timely and accurate account reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Work with external auditors.
  • Ad Hoc projects and analysis as assigned

Qualifications / Skills

  • Excellent analytical and technical accounting skills required.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, emphasizing continuous improvement.
  • Attention to detail with a “big picture” focus.
  • Strong organizational skills required to manage multiple projects from beginning to end.
  • Deadline-driven and self-motivated.
  • Strong computer skills, and proficiency in Excel and Access
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deadline driven and self-motivated.
  • Tableau or similar reporting experience a plus
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with co-workers and others.

Education

 

  • BS/BA Accounting degree required
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience including SOX experience
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
