Dynacraft is looking for an experienced Operations Executive to lead the 3PL and Material Handling functions at the Louisville and McKinney locations. Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily activities of supervisors, team leaders, Engineers, and material handling specialists in a high-paced, high-variation, quality-focused truck component assembly plant to ensure on-time delivery of materials to the point of use.
- Will work with the Materials Planning team to improve inventory-related metrics including turns, accuracy, and reducing S&O exposure.
- Responsible for partnering with 3PL provider to improve KPIs and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Direct Manager of outsourcing and divestment activities for the Division
- Will oversee all aspects of material delivery from 3PL locations to line-side inventory in the Louisville and McKinney plants. This also includes leading the Receiving and Shipping departments along with management of Kanban Material Replenishment programs.
- Partner with Materials Planning and Production Management to develop short-term and long-term strategies for efficient material storage and movement through the plants and 3PLs.
- Partner with Human Resources to ensure appropriate hiring, orientation, training, performance reviews, counseling, and disciplinary actions of employees.
- Champion initiation and completion of Six Sigma projects.
- Assist in planning and implementation of annual operating and capital budgets.
- Control monthly operating expenses and maintain necessary records and documentation.
- Assist in devising, reviewing, and implementing methods for improving productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication with Dynacraft and PACCAR Senior Management in support of operations and initiatives.
- Liaison between departments to ensure maximum cost-savings and efficient manufacturing and distribution operations.
- Manage on-site trailer fleets and logistics / returnable container deployment and administration.

Qualifications
- Ten or more years of manufacturing management experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading large projects completed on time and to budget.
- Demonstrated experience leading large teams over a multi-shift operation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise employees.
- Thorough understating of production facilities, assembly, and distribution operations.
- SAP experience preferred.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, engineering or other appropriate field required.
- Master's degree strongly desired.
- Six Sigma training strongly desired.
