Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in McKinney, TX. a suburb of Dallas. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For fifty years Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck divisions and PACCAR Parts division with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services. Dynacraft has production facilities in Algona, WA, Louisville, KY, and McKinney, TX.

Requisition Summary

Coordinates, develops and supports traffic functions, maintains premium freight and additional department requests for all Dynacraft locations.

Preferred candidate would be based in the Dallas, TX area.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Supports Traffic Requests for Plano and Algona plants
  • Coordinates expedites for inbound/outbound shipments as required
  • Tracks inbound shipments
  • Responsible for Premium Freight tracking, capturing and resolutions
  • Supports EDI group requests
  • Interacts with all plant departments to create and implement solutions to ensure inbound/outbound material arrives to meet requirements
  • Prepares bills of lading, air bills, and customs invoices as required
  • Conducts research on assigned projects
  • Works with carriers as needed
  • Assists with clerical functions within department
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Experience in domestic transportation including road carriers, air freight, and intermodal.
  • SAP experience.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills including conflict resolution.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work well under pressure.
  • PC skills - MS Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Position requires an accurate detailed approach, good organization, and the ability to communicate clearly.
  • Must be an independent worker who has the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work extended hours and Saturdays when required to support Traffic requests.
Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Transportation Management, or related field required.
