Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquarted in Algona, WA.  Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of commercial vehicle parts and components sold under the Kenworth and Peterbilt brands.  For more than forty years, Dynacraft has provided the company's truck divisions and PACCAR Parts distribution centers with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services.  Dynacraft has production facilities in Algona, WA, Louisville, KY and McKinney, TX. 

Requisition Summary

Responsible for Human Resource generalist activities for assigned internal customers.  Performs HR-related strategic activities and initiatives as well as administrative duties and responsibilities.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Work in a collaborative manner with HR personnel to provide uniform interpretation and application of policies, practices and procedures. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements
  • Build positive employee relations by proactive employee communication, prompt issue resolution and fair and equitable treatment. This includes support of local and corporate programs to promote employee goodwill and positive morale.
  • Provide advice and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Provide coaching and counseling to employees and managers as needed.
  • Assist with selection process to include interviewing and making recommendations regarding qualifications Administer, coordinate, participate, and/or assist with HR projects and activities
  • Conduct investigation into operational and HR/employee relations issues as required.
  • Conduct onboarding
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Three to four years generalist experience in Human Resources preferred
  • Must be able to work a split shift on occasion
  • Must be dependable, organized, produce accurate results, and able to prioritize and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials and issues is imperative.
  • Strong PC skills - Excel, Power Point and Word are required, SAP is preferred.

Education

  • Four-year degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is required.
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • PHR or SPHR preferred
