Division Information

Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in Algona, WA. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For more than forty years, Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck divisions and PACCAR Parts service parts division with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services. Dynacraft has production facilities in Algona, WA, Louisville, KY and Plano/McKinney, TX.

Requisition Summary

Dynacraft is expanding by opening a third facility in Texas. The first phase of this expansion is starting up operations in a temporary facility in Plano, TX. The Plano operation will operate while we build our permanent Texas facility, planned to be located in McKinney, TX.  The ICT Team Leader is responsible for assisting in the development of the strategic direction for the Plant in support of Dynacraft’s vision and goals as well as supporting the Truck Plants and Aftermarket Customer requirements. This position's hours are from 8:30am-4:30pm.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Maintain Cycle Count and Monthly Stat Audit Data
  • Develop and document inventory processes.
  • Assist in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Eliminate roadblocks for production/distribution.
  • Audit processes against Standard Work.
  • Look for ways to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Utilize root cause analysis to fix repetitive inventory issues. 
  • Maintain departmental training matrix.
  • Conduct process and product audits and document results.
  • Check inventory adjustments for accuracy and submit adjustments for processing.
  • Be able to recommend process and/or system changes to enhance safety/productivity/quality.
  • Participate in corrective actions related to internal or external defects.
  • Work with cross functional teams on improvement projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Must be able to operate independently with little guidance while being a positive contributor to a team environment
  • Must have excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Lead by example and have a proven record of excellence in attendance, dependability and safety
  • Must be self-motivated, well organized, flexible and able to handle the pressure of a high-volume operation.
  • Computer literacy is required with a familiarity of MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrate supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Six Sigma concepts and techniques.
  • Level four (4) Trained preferred.
  • Demonstrate understanding of root cause and corrective action tools/methods.
  • Experience with SAP/RF/Operations preferred.
     

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum two years of manufacturing and/or distribution experience required.
  • Previous supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
