Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in McKinney, TX. a suburb of Dallas. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium- and heavy-duty truck parts sold under Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For fifty years Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck divisions and PACCAR Parts division with high quality components, subassemblies, and specialized services. Dynacraft has production facilities in Louisville, KY, and McKinney, TX.

Requisition Summary

The Data Analyst reports directly to the Plant Manager of Dynacraft. This role focuses on solving Dynacraft’s most important operational challenges using Data and Advanced Analytics. This will include creating predictive analytics models, undergoing data mining projects and building management visualizations. These shall assist the team improve critical metrics, such as safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery reliability. Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define business needs, translate business needs into analytical problems, solve analytical problems using best practices and effectively communicate updates and results at all levels.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and analytics techniques.
  • Extract, merge and compile data from various data sources, including relational database, flat files, SQL databases.
  • Introduce improvements to increase the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of advanced analytics across the organization.
  • Provide accurate, relevant, and meaningful ad-hoc analysis to management to support strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Edit and create through coding production “EWI” (Electronic Work Instruction) screens to improve traceability and quality within the manufacturing processes.
  • Build interfaces/visualizations that can be used at various levels to display performance.
  • Gain an understanding of Dynacraft’s manufacturing processes to enable an efficient and effective understanding of the business need.
  • Collaborate and relationship build with Dynacraft’s IT team to stay familiar with other related data projects, such as cloud migration


  • Bachelor’s in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Operations Research, or related field.
  • 2 years of applicable job experience with a proven ability to develop Advanced Analytics models and use Power Apps or Tableau.
  • Experience with SQL coding.
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter and self-directed learner with a creative mind, high attention to detail and a solution-oriented outlook.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including ability to professionally interact with internal and external stakeholders.


  • Masters' degree in Computer Science or a related field required
