Here's what you will do in this role:

 

Works with the product change process to integrate new content into the sales software by:

  • Interpreting and writing logic rules to support complex component configurations
  • Developing solutions to guide users through the truck configuration process
  • Acting as a liaison between Engineering, Marketing and ITD software developers
  • Certifying the outcome of the software developer enhancement efforts

 

Serves as the champion of the sales software user experience, providing on-going support by:

  • Providing support to Kenworth dealership users of the sales tool
  • Initiating process improvement opportunities to enhance the sales tool
  • Seeking technological solutions to organize, automate, and synchronize business needs
  • Recognizing the impact of software changes to the business
  • Training internal and external clients on the use of the sales tool
  • Creates technical documents to define enhancements to the sales tool

 

  • Provide leadership for sales tool technology development including project management for future strategic development
  • Manage sales tool release cycle including the coordination of testing and release implementation
  • Lead efforts to research and utilize new approaches to presenting Kenworth products in the sales tool

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree / MBA preferred
  • Detail oriented and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
  • Exhibits diligence and perseverance to achieve the objective
  • Strong product knowledge - truck models, option offerings, component installations
  • Well versed on PC applications - SQL, Access, Excel, Word
  • Familiarity with computer mainframe/internal systems - OPS, COPICS, OMS, OAR/TOA, PCMS, SharePoint, ReportWeb
  • Effective communication skills with other individuals inside and outside of Kenworth
